Ground Red Pepper

Ground Red Pepper is sold only for the Scoville Heat that it contains.  We sell these products in a range from 5,000 Scoville Heat Units up to 60,000 Scoville Heat Units. Again, product is tested upon receipt at Rio Valley and then blended, using our software, to obtain the desired quality characteristics.  Ground Red Pepper is sold to customers who use it to make chili-based candies and hot salsas. In our company literature we call the Ground Red Pepper “GRP”, and we label it with the heat it contains, such as GRP 5000.
